Memorial Day - Monday May 28th

Memorial Day in the U.S. is traditionally the day Americans honor the men and women serving in the armed forces, past and present. We would like to recognize our canine friends who provide faithful service in the U.S. military and law enforcement.

Mum helped me find a very nice quote, below.

“Near this spot are deposited the remains of one who possessed Beauty without Vanity, Strength without Insolence, Courage without Ferocity, and all the Virtues of Man without his Vices.”

John Cam Hobhouse (1786 1869)
This Tribute was written in the Memory of Boatswain Lord Byron’s Newfoundland.
